Five years ago, the Flores family took their very first steps into the entertainment industry when they signed up their 3-month-old daughter, Arabella, with Bettina Management. Fast forward to today, and it’s not just Arabella who’s stealing the spotlight. Her younger brothers, Arden and Alexandros, have joined the ranks of talent, eager to follow in their sister’s footsteps. Parents, Josh and Jasmine, have even gotten involved at times, featuring in TV commercials and photoshoots alongside their little ones. The Flores family has undoubtedly made a significant impact on the entertainment scene, and their story is nothing short of remarkable.
At just six years old, Arabella has achieved more than many adults could dream of. She has worked with many incredible brands including Myer, Cotton On, Bonds, Target and so much more. As a family, they have had the unique opportunity to work together on various TV commercials including AGL and QV. In this blog post, Jasmine shares her family’s unique experience in the world of child modelling and acting, delving into both the advantages and the challenges. She also offers valuable advice to parents who are contemplating entering the child entertainment industry.
What sparked your initial interest in the entertainment industry for your family?
It was all by chance, but it’s been such a great journey! It started when Arabella was 3-4 months old and we were told we should put her into modelling, so I said hey why not! It’s a great way to start saving money for their future too.
How long have you been with Bettina Management and how has your experience been so far?
We’ve been with Bettina (what feels like) since Arabella was born, haha. We registered her at 3 months old and she got her first job at 4 months old.
What has been your favourite project so far?
There are so many it’s hard to choose! But Koko Black was awesome. The creative team on that one was so fascinating to watch and Arabella loved that she could have chocolates on set! AGL is probably the biggest one that we’ve been a part of as a family. Our friends and family are always super excited to see our family on TV.

Have there been any surprises or unexpected opportunities that have come your way since you started this journey?
Well, probably AGL. We never expected an ad of ours to be streamed nationally and have all our friends and family constantly saying that they’ve seen us on TV! Another one was QV TV commercial we did where the ads got featured internationally which was super cool too.
Can you describe your proudest moment or achievement as a family so far within the industry?
I’m proud of the kids in every single shoot. It’s so nice watching them step out and do something to build confidence outside of their day-to-day lives.
What has been the most challenging aspect of your journey so far?
I’d say having to be SUPER flexible. This may be a challenge to do if your work schedule is rigid as a lot of the shoots fall on a weekday and you may only be notified sometimes a couple of days in advance. Also, it’s not as hard now, but it was definitely more challenging taking them around as babies. You really had to try to work your best around their nap times otherwise all you get is crying shots and sleepy eyes… haha. But we once had a photo shoot with Britax where Arabella fell asleep as a little baby and those shots were the CUTEST. So that worked out well.
What advice would you give to aspiring young talents or families who aspire to follow a similar path in the entertainment industry?
Just go for it! You never know how far it can go. It’s also a great way to save up and gently introduce your kids to the concept of “money doesn’t grow on trees.” After every shoot, we take them to buy something small as they’ve “worked” for it but really we put the majority of it in savings.
